Dangerous Jim and the Slims

Meet the Band

Jim Miller Jim Miller
vocals and percussion

Vocalist Jim Miller has won 3 Cincinnati Music Awards, the Mike Mcconnell Songwriting Contest, the Motley Crue Kickstart your Career Contest, headlined the WEBN Fireworks 6 times and opened for at least 40 national acts that he can remember. He is active in his community through sports team sponsorship (it's funny to see a team called DANGEROUS JIM AND THE SLIMS!), and he stages the annual CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR in his hometown that raises thousands of dollars for underprivledged kids. He has been performing professionally for over 25 years, but has still retained his boyish good looks... Seriously!

Johnny Harmon Johnny Harmon
drums

Long considered one of the top Drummers in Cinci, Johnny brings his funky chops and great backing vocals directly to the people via his charismatic stage presence. He anchored local legends Prizoner thru 2008, has his original band DONKEYSTOMP! in the studio as you read this, is involved with the VCC Worship Team, tours regularly with the Dangerous 4, and most importantly, enjoys kicking it old school with Dangerous Jim. Big energy, big beats, big rock.

Kevin McKinney Kevin McKinney

Shawn will kick your ass in Chess, Scrabble, Backgammon, Strip Poker (actually he loses everytime- Yikes!), Crossword Puzzling, Marbles, Indian Wrestling, Thumb Wrestling, Dwarf Tossing, Fire Breathing, Space Invaders, Pong and any other stupid computer game you may have played. He is the owner of one of the world's largest Marilyn Monroe memorabilia collections in the U.S., he's a REAL Mensa member (if you don't know what that is google it!) and he TEACHES GUITAR LESSONS AT SAM ASH MUSIC IN TRI-COUNTY! Would you like to become a better guitar player? Email him at maestrothirteen@yahoo.com or come take notes at an upcoming gig. Hello Hello!!!

Eric Steiden Eric "Hollywood" Steiden
trumpet

Dangerous Jim doesn't like to take the stage without legal representation present, so it works out good that ERIC is a lawyer. He's also a great Trumpeteer. Probably the most experienced member of the band, Eric has performed in countless concerts, stage productions, etc. from Vegas to New Orleans and all points in between for the last 25 years. He was even in the OHIO STATE MARCHING BAND! Have legal issues? Go to steidenlaw.com for more information.

John Hoff John Hoff
trombone

Quite simply "the best TROMBONER in the business". A 3 year member of the DANGEROUS horn section, John brings professionalism, patriotism, eroticism, botulism, symbolism, rocknrollism and some seriously funky horn solos to the table. He's a great kisser, cook, mixoligist, biologist, and chemist. He loves you. Love him back.

Trevor Caddell Trevor Caddell
sax

Nicknamed T-Dogg, Trevor is a highly energetic, exceptionally skilled hornsman. He is currently studying music at Northern Kentucky University, and studying live musical performance with Dangerous Jim. He plays in the NKU Jazz Ensemble, is also a member of the Barstool Gypsies, and enjoys virgin cocktails, the sweet sound of bagpipes and screaming rock guitar.
